Poverty is a call to freedom.
Leading a simple, austere life makes a us to remain independent.

The poverty we live becomes concrete and unique when it is of service to our vocation as professional religious men and also to our apostolate.

Each member has personal property that he can use or dispose of in line with certain guidelines provided by the community.

Members of the Schoenstatt Institute Brothers of Mary live between two poles. On the one hand they are responsible professionals who take personal responsibility in the discharge of their duties and on the other hand they are inwardly and outwardly commited to a religious community.

The community offers them warmth, security, affection and also creates an atmosphere for spiritual development.
