The members of the community work in a variety of professions including the following: as teachers, social workers, administrators, craftsmen and engineers. They live in small communities together, save where a member´s professional commitment necessitates a solitary habitation. To accompany and support the other communities of men and young men within the Schoenstatt movement is what we refer to as our "original mission" and it is as important today as it ever was. Other work done by the community includes the running of the following: an educational institution in Bonn, a youth centre in Mount Mary, a goldsmith and artisan workshop, a carpentary workshop and a workshop where organs are manufactured in Brazil. Brothers of Mary are currently operating in Brazil, Burundi, Chile, Germany and Paraguay. concrete embodiment
